Boulder is no stranger to being caricatured by some conservatives, and the city has recently found itself in a brouhaha over spending of the federal stimulus. A Boulder climbing gym, Movement Climbing and Fitness, was first singled out by Sen. John McCain, and then more recently by Fox commentator Sean Hannity for claiming the 30 percent tax credit on installing a rooftop solar array.
From the video in the link, Hannity’s main criticism appears to be that Boulder doesn’t need an indoor climbing gym.
